Ronald Wayne Autobiography “Adventures Of An Apple Founder” Now On iTunes

It’s a lesser-known fact that Apple was not actually founded by two people, but three: Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne. Not much is said of Ronald Wayne, Apple’s third founder, largely because he sold his share of Apple for $800 after just a few weeks. He has now published an autobiography to tell his side of the story called “Adventures Of An Apple Founder”.

While many would consider Ronald Wayne a fool, or would question how he lives with himself knowing that he could now be a billionaire if he’d stuck with Apple, Wayne has declared that he does not regret his decision.

Ronald Wayne wrote the original manual for the Apple 1, and served as an advisor and middleman to both Jobs and Wozniak during the earliest days of Apple. The biography ought to be a very interesting read, and is available now through iTunes for just $9.99 (iBookStore link), and available in Paperback from Amazon for $19.99 (Amazon Link)

From the book’s description:

In the spring of 1976 while working as chief draftsman and product development engineer at the video game maker Atari, Ron assisted a co-worker with the subtle intricacies of forming a small business. It was with Ron’s natural sensibilities, experiences, and skills honed over a lifelong career in many disciplines that he offered himself openly as a resource to two much-younger entrepreneurs: Steve Jobs & Steve Wozniak. These same traits would drive Ron’s decision to leave a short time later.

Adventures of an Apple Founder offers insight into the experiences that define the man whose passion for engineering and design spans over three quarters of a century, half a dozen industries, and a lifetime of adventures!
