25 Million Users On Dropbox! 200 Million Files Per Day

MacTrast favorite, Dropbox is expected to today announce a pretty impressive milestone. Dropbox, founded in 2007, is expected to hit 25 million users.

Users of the popular file sharing and syncing service save approximately 200 million files per day. That’s 1 million files every 5 minutes.

The company has witnessed unprecedented growth in a little over a year. This time last year Techcrunch reported that Dropbox had 2 million users. A 10 fold growth in a year is ridiculously impressive and testament to how great a service Dropbox truly is.

Dropbox allows you to share and synchronize files and folders on your local machine across as many platforms as you can imagine. You can share files and setup up group collaboration folders in a few clicks. Dropbox just works!

You can get a free Dropbox account with 2GB storage, or choose from two paid models for $9.99 or $19.99 per month that will provide you with 50GB and 100GB storage respectively.
