Rumor: New iMacs Coming Real Soon

9to5Mac is reporting of supply shortages of iMacs at three different international suppliers. Normally a shortage is a solid indicator that a refresh of the model is on the horizon. This happened with the availability of the iPad and Macbook Pros in recent months.

A leaked screenshot (below) shows that all 4 models of the iMacs are “constrained”.

Rumors suggest that the new range of iMacs will inherit Sandy Bridge processors and Thunderbolt. The last iMac updates happened in July 27, 2010. The average cycle of release is every 226 days. We’re currently at 267 since an update.

Hold tight folks! Looks like new iMacs in the next 3 to 4 weeks at best.
