TweetDeck today released version 2 of their popular Twitter iPhone app. Version 2.0 is a complete overhaul and includes a brand spanking new design that will make you go “ohhhh, yes, it is shiny”. The app was completely rebuilt and features some great enhancements and intuitive features.

Not only is new iPhone TweetDeck more beautiful, it offers a new flexibility that has never been seen before. Making the “pinch” gesture on a column give you access to options that will allow you to add any combination of your feeds into a column. Twitter timelines, Mentions, DMs Favourites, Lists, Searches, Facebook feeds….all can be blended together into columns that suit you.

TweetDeck is a hot topic at the moment with both Twitter and Ubermedia interested in a multi-million acquisition of the UK based Twitter client.
