Download The New Wallpapers From OS X Lion’s Developer Preview 3

Apple recently released Developer Preview 3 of the upcoming OS X 10.7 Lion operating system. The new build came with 14 beautiful new hi-resolution wallpapers, which we have uploaded to MegaUpload for your downloading pleasure.

The below gallery shows each of the images, but you’ll need to download the zip file from MegaUpload to get all of them in beautiful high resolution.

You can also get the previous Fuji Mountain wallpapers (first, second), courtesy of OSXDaily.

It’s refreshing to see that all current Lion wallpapers support are designed to be an astounding 3200×2000 pixels in resolution, making it possible for Apple to migrate to higher resolution displays (perhaps Retina, in some cases) in the near future.

You can download the pack of all 14 wallpapers for free at this link: MegaUpload

  • Dang those are nice.

    • Definitely.

      •  Although I always wonder how much editing the photos go through. As an example, was there actually an eagle in the original image?

        • Interesting thought – I’m sure the photos are taken by very expensive photographers, and extensively edited.

    • Definitely.
