Google Unleashes New iOS Web Layout

Apparently Google has just redesigned their search results page on iOS devices, so next time you search, watch for it! The update replaces the small top links with big icons, allowing you to navigate more easily, and quickly access sites like Maps and YouTube.

The new icons are visible upon running a search query on an iOS device. They essentially function the same as the smaller textual links, taking you to the search silos such as Images, Places and News. Clicking the More link pulls even more big icons for quick access to YouTube, Gmail, Maps and other popular Google services.

The new interface looks and feels good, making it feel more iPhone native to me. The new search isn’t yet live for everyone, so let us know if its showing up for you. To check, simply go to m.google.com from an iOS Device.
