Safari Books Online, a vast compendium of technology-related eBooks, has announced Safari to Go, it’s 2nd-gen iPad app that offers access to their entirely (extensive) library of books and videos. The free app allows users to mark favorites, save for offline reading and more.

Safari’s library is a truly massive collection, and includes thousands of books and videos from more than 40 publishes, such as Apress, Cisco, and O’Reilly. Most of the titles are technology focused. The app works best over Wifi, with better 3G support coming soon. The app is free and available now.
