Steve Jobs Introduces The First iMac In 1998

“We think the iMac is going to be a big deal”

Check out the above video of Steve Jobs introducing the iMac for the very first time in 1998. A jacket wearing, turtle neckless Jobs owns the stage and lambasts the existing PCs on the market as being “uuuugggly” and instead introduces a personal computer that would go on to make desktop machines things of beauty.

The translucent iMac rocked out with a 233Mhz Processor, 32MB RAM, and 4GB storage and cost $1,299.

As exciting and hot as things get on stage, Jobs never unbuttons that top button. What a pro.
