TSA Agent Caught With A Stolen iPad Down His Pants

Getting caught stealing while at work is embarrassing enough. I remember the time I took a red stapler from a guy in our office space and it turned him demented. But getting caught red handed with a stolen iPad down your pants is probably a little bit more embarrassing.

That’s what happened to newly unemployed and ex-TSA agent Nelson Santiago who is accused of racking up more than $50,000 of stolen property from the luggage of passengers as they departed Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.

Santiago was seen attempting to stuff an iPad down his pants while checking luggage. It wouldn’t be too bad if it were his own iPad because who hasn’t stuffed their iPad down their pants? But it actually belonged to a passenger. Woops,

Santiago was arrested on Monday and charged with two counts of grand theft. He was promptly fired from his position at the TSA and is currently awaiting further charges while on bail.
