Remember that report from yesterday about a Facebook engineer who quit for Google after Facebook didn’t launch his iPad app? Facebook may have had good reason to hold back, as a new report suggests that Apple may announce Facebook integration for iOS 5.
The report comes to us from MacRumors, and displays the above (possibly mocked up, as “addresses” is spelled wrong) screenshots. It certainly looks awesome, and there’s no doubt that many would welcome Facebook integration into iOS, alongside the Twitter integration that Apple has already implemented, however the fact that Apple hasn’t included Facebook integration into any of their iOS 5 developer previews seems to speak against the validity of this claim.
