Australian Court To Expedite Samsung’s Appeal In Galaxy Tab 10.1 Ban

An Australian judge has agreed to expedite Samsung’s appeal of an injunction banning the company from selling its Galaxy Tab 10.1 in that country, reports the Sydney Morning Herald, with Samsung hoping to overturn the ban in time for the holiday shopping season.

Despite the fact that Samsung said they’d likely cancel the device’s Australia launch if Apple was awarded the injunction, Samsung is nevertheless continuing to fight for the right to sell their product in that country.

While Samsung is unable to sell the tablet in Australia, internet resellers are continuing to sell the Galaxy Tab 10.1 to Australian customers. As such, Apple is is beginning to target such resellers, issuing letters threatening legal action if they continue.
