How To: Private Browsing In Safari For iOS 5 Devices
Private browsing in Safari on the Mac has been available for a number of years. That same functionality now comes to your iOS devices.
To activate simply proceed to Settings > Safari. You will then be presented with the following view and will notice private browsing as highlighted in the image below:
By default this setting is turned off. Turning on will present the following message:
Selecting Keep All will retain all webpages currently open in Safari. Close all will close all pages you are currently browsing. This same message will be presented when you turn off private browsing.
Private browsing allows users to traverse the internet without your device storing the pages, images, and history of sites you have recently visited.
