MacBook Pro Updated With Faster Processors, Upgraded Storage & Graphics

Following rumors from last week, Apple has just released an update to their MacBook Pro line with faster processors, more storage and better graphics. The updated models are priced the same as the previous models, and are available now from the Apple Online Store.

The update is a minor refresh to keep the line up-to-date until Apple releases significantly upgraded new models next year featuring Intel’s forthcoming Ivy Bridge processors. Details on the new models are as follows:

13-inch Models

  • 2.4 GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor, 4 GB of RAM, 500 GB hard drive, Intel HD Graphics 3000 ($1,199)
  • 2.8 GHz dual-core Intel Core i7 processor, 4 GB of RAM, 750 GB hard drive, Intel HD Graphics 3000 ($1,499)

15-inch Models

  • 2.2 GHz quad-core Intel i7 processor, 4 GB of RAM, 500 GB hard drive, Intel HD Graphics 3000, AMD Radeon HD 6750M with 512MB GDDR5 ($1,799)
  • 2.4 GHz quad-core Intel i7 processor, 4 GB of RAM, 750 GB hard drive, Intel HD Graphics 3000, AMD Radeon HD 6770M with 1GB GDDR5 ($2,199)

17-inch Models

  • 2.4 GHz quad-core Intel i7 processor, 4GB of RAM, 750 GB hard drive, Intel HD Graphics 3000, AMD Radeon HD 6770M with 1GB GDDR5 ($2,499)
