Although double-sized iPad Retina images are anything but a new discovery, new Retina iPad images found within Apple’s newly-released iBooks 2.0 are especially interesting considering that the next-gen iPad is expected within the next couple of months.
While Retina images have been found within iBooks before, these images are unique from any that have been found before (according to 9to5Mac), seemingly reinforcing the idea that Apple’s next iPad will feature a Retina display.
Apple’s next-gen iPad is rumored to feature a 1536 x 2048 Retina display, a quad-core A6 processor, and support for 4G LTE wireless technology, and could be announced as soon as early February.
