Steve Jobs to be Inducted into Creative Hall of Fame

In honor of his many design-related accomplishments, Steve Jobs will be inducted into the Creative Hall of Fame by The One Club for Art and Copy. The event will take place in New York City on January 17, 2012.

The One Club has issued the following statement regarding the induction:

[Steve Jobs will be] honored for a lifetime of contributions to design, branding and communications. As a visionary leader, his passion for design not only created products that changed the way we interact with technology and media, but changed the way we create content in media.

The event will feature a number of legendary ads, including Apple’s iconic 1997 Think Different ad, as well as a full retrospective of the design work that marked each inductee’s rise to fame.

Considering the revolutionary nature of many of Apple’s products through the years, his work in helping to make Pixar one of the first digital animation studios and more, it’s clear that Steve Jobs has made a tremendous impact in these areas.

The organization has recognized more than 100 pieces of Apple’s advertising and design since 1984. Tickets to the event can be purchased for $400 per person.
