Following the controversy surrounding the terms and conditions of iBooks Author, Apple’s new textbook publishing app, Apple has modified the terms regarding the exclusivity of content created with the app, MacGeneration reports. The terms now read that the content created with the application can be published on any platform, so long as it is not published in the .ibooks form elsewhere.

The former conditions (pictured) prohibited the publishing of textbooks created with iBooks author on any other platform for commercial use. This news will no doubt encourage more people to start creating textbooks with app, knowing that they are free to publish it elsewhere as they please.
