Frank Zappa Music Returns To iTunes Store

Music legend Frank Zappa’s albums have finally returned to the US iTunes Store after being removed in 2005, MacGeneration reports. Over fifty over his albums are now available again after his widow Gail Zappa took legal action seven years ago against their distribution.

One of the objections his widow raised was to do with sound quality – something that Zappa was also obsessed with. However that should no longer be a problem. Some of his albums can now be found in the mastered for iTunes section, which will please the Zappa Family Trust, who now own the rights to his music.

Hopefully Zappa on iTunes will bring his music within reach of yet another generation, something which was hindered by it being removed in 2005. You can download his albums from the iTunes Store here.
