iPad Mini Detailed Through Schematics and Gorgeous 3D Render (Pics)

Following yesterday’s report providing new details about Apple’s upcoming “iPad mini,” 9to5Mac has shared some schematics for the device originally reported on back in July, which match up extremely well with the recently revealed details.

The schematics (above, click to expand), originally posted at ThinkOS, detail a number of the details revealed yesterday evening, including the much thinner bezel, as well as the overall iPod touch-like thinness of the device as a whole. The schematics also show a front facing camera, a rear camera, and the oft-rumored smaller dock connector.

In addition to the schematics, 9to5Mac has also posted a gorgeous 3D render of the iPad mini (created by designer Maurizio Vitale) based off the leaked schematics and the information they reported. Between these two pieces, you can get a pretty good idea of what the smaller iPad is expected to look like.
