After seeding the first build of Mountain Lion 10.8.2 last week, Apple has now released a second build (12C35) to developers for testing, with developers asked to focus on Facebook integration. Apple initially began seeding the update to AppleSeed members two days ago.

Other highlighted areas include Messages, Game Center, Safari and Reminders, with no known bugs included. Apple’s betas are typically two weeks or more apart – the fact that the second beta has arrived so quickly after the first suggests that Apple is fast-tracking this release, possibly to be launched at their September 12 media event.

10.8.2 is expected to bring Facebook sharing to OS X, and is intended to make OS X Mountain Lion fully compatible with new features in iOS 6. The update is available now through Apple’s developer portal.
