Following the success of their Angry Birds franchise, developer Rovio has announced an all-new pig-themed installment to the series – the Angry Birds story from the pigs’ point of view! The game, called Bad Piggies, will be coming on September 21.
From the press release:
“There’s a lot of empathy towards the lovable enemies from the Angry Birds games, and we’ve been constantly asked: what about the pigs’ side of the story?” said Rovio CEO Mikael Hed said in a press release. “Bad Piggies gives you the chance to play as the second-most-loved characters in the Angry Birds universe, and explore this rich world through their green eyes.”
This should be a pretty entertaining game, and should provide a unique take on the Angry Birds saga that has taken the mobile gaming world by storm. The details of the game are still unclear, but ont thing is for sure: It’s gonna be PIG! Pardon the pun.
