Twitter for iPad Updated With New Look, Enhanced Photo Streams, and More

Twitter updated their iOS client to 5.0 today, adding an all-new interface for the iPad to match the look and feel of the recent and Twitter for iPhone updates.

From the Twitter blog:

Today you can download the new Twitter for iPad. We’ve rebuilt the app from the ground up to make it fast, beautiful and easy to use. Twitter for iPad brings you closer to what’s happening all over the world, and makes it easy to keep up with the news you need to read, the photos you want to see and the people you follow.

While the design has received mixed response, I find it to be a lot cleaner and simpler than the previous iPad interface. One caveat, however, is that the update now requires you to use Twitter’s own image service rather than one of your own choosing…

Twitter for iOS 5.0 is available fore free through the App Store.
