Four hours. That’s all it took for the iPad mini to sell out. Shipping times have already dropped to two weeks on certain configurations in the US and Europe, and the others will no doubt sell out imminently as well.

All of the white models have slipped to two weeks across the US and Europe, even though some black models still remain in stock and deliverable for 2/11. The white models were apparently by far the most popular, as Fortune notes they sold out in just 20 minutes!

So you get the message. If you want one of these puppies on time, you’d better count on waiting in line next Friday!

Also a reminder that the cellular models don’t ship until November, so if you want one of those, you probably stand a better chance considering that the majority of people will forget about 4G if they can get their precious slightly earlier.
