Apple Adds $19 Lightning to Micro USB to U.S. Online Store

Apple has now begun selling an official Lightning to Micro USB adapter on the Apple Online Store in the U.S., priced at $19. Micro USB adapters have previously only been available to European customers, to comply with EU requirements for electronic devices, making this the first time the adapters have been offered in the U.S.

The adapter allows you to charge and sync your iOS device using standard Micro USB cables – but at $19 for each adapter, you’d probably be better off just buying new Lightning cables! At any rate, the adapter is available now, and ships within 2-3 business days.
