Apple Apologizes for “Not as Cool” Posting, Posts Correct UK Samsung vs. Apple Statement

Apple has complied with the UK court order to change it’s smirky “not as cool” posting on it’s UK website. Apple’s site is now complying fully, including the ordered larger 14 point font. It is also running the ordered ads in UK papers using the same copy.

 If you haven’t been following, Apple lost a bid to remove Samsung Galaxy Tabs from the UK  based on trademarked design patents. Because of the negative publicity that Samsung received as a result of the accusations and trial, the court ordered that Apple clarify the situation both online and in newspapers.

After originally posting it’s original “apology”, Apple was ordered by the court to remove the ad, give a proper apology, and follow the original court order properly.
