LTE iPad mini and 4th-Gen iPad Now Available from Carrier Stores

Apple’s major carrier partners, AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint have all announced they will officially begin sales of the LTE capable versions of the iPad mini and fourth-generation iPad to their U.S. customers today.

MacRumors:

Apple has not made any official announcement about availability of the LTE models, and users in our forums are so far reporting scant availability of the devices, particularly the iPad mini, at the company’s own retail stores. We did hear from one reader who was able to purchase an LTE fourth-generation iPad at an Apple store late yesterday, but many others are not having luck so far.

Most Apple retail stores open at 10:00 AM local time, but some reports say that word from employees already on-site indicates availability of the new models is limited, and one report from a MacRumors reader says that the company’s flagship 24-hour store on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan currently has no LTE iPad mini models in stock.

Readers, have any of you been able to purchased the LTE iPad mini today? What is the stock situation at your local Apple Store or carrier store? Let us know in the comments section below.
