Earlier today, Facebook announced that they are partnering with Apple to offer iTunes gift cards for purchase through the Facebook Gifts social gifting service, making it even easier to purchase iTunes gift cards for your Facebook friends (or anyone else!) using the social network.

Starting today with Facebook Gifts, you can instantly gift your friends iTunes digital gifts and recommend albums, movies, games, apps, and more available on the iTunes Store.
Search for a specific song or album to recommend, or let your friend decide. iTunes digital gifts are available for $10, $15, $25, or $50.
The service also allows users to send iTunes recommendations for specific songs, albums, and apps in values of $10, $15, $25, or $50. Facebook is hard at work on expanding their Gifts platform – the move to add iTunes cards follows the addition of over a dozen new merchants earlier this month.
Facebook Gifts only launched at the end of September – but with big merchants like Apple already on board, it appears to be off to a strong start!
