As reported last week, Apple has begun shipping preorders of Wi-Fi + Cellular models of the fourth-generation iPad to its U.S. customers.
MacRumors has received word from over half a dozen readers indicating that their orders are now en route via FedEx with delivery scheduled for this Friday, November 16.
It was reported that some customers who were initially seeing delivery estimates of next week were receiving free upgrades to November 16 delivery if they requested it. Now it looks like most early preorder customers will be seeing their new iPads delivered this Friday, even with out a special request.
There has yet to be any word on any Wi-Fi + Cellular iPad mini preorders being headed out the door for shipments, so we’ll have to wait and see if any make the same delivery window.
