iPhone 5 Now Listed as ‘In Stock’ at Apple Online Store for Many Countries

It’s been over a month now since the iPhone 5 launched, and Apple now seems to have finally caught up with demand for the device. As TUAW notes, ship times for the iPhone 5 are now listed as “In Stock” at the Apple Online Store for many countries, including the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Australia, and New Zealand.

A number of other countries are still listing “1-3 Business Day” ship times for the device, but it’s likely that the in stock status is still in the process of rolling out worldwide. Similarly, unlocked iPhone 5 models are still listed with a 1-3 day ship time in the U.S.

The change follows an improvement earlier this week to 2-4 business day ship times, and Apple’s announcement that the iPhone 5 will launch in over 50 additional countries on December 14th. It’s nice to see Apple finally on top of iPhone 5 demand!
