Reeder for iPad and Mac Free Until Version 2.0 Release

The iPad and Mac versions of the popular RRS app Reeder will be updated soon to Version 2.0 to add all the features currently in the iPhone edition. Now the developer, Silvio Rizzi has good news for anyone who hasn’t downloaded either version. Reeder for iPad and Reeder for Mac will both be available free until the release of version 2.0

Reeder for Mac and iPad will be updated to 2.0 in the coming months. Version 2.0 will add all the features of the iPhone version, including all sharing and syncing services. Until then, Reeder for Mac and Reeder for iPad will be free, starting today.

It was reported last last month by AppAdvice that the iPhone version of Reeder will depend on Feedbin, and will add experimental support for standalone/local RSS. The features will be included in the next update, version 3.1, which, according to Rizzi’s blog post, should be ready “soon.”
