Dropbox for iOS App Update: Share Multiple Files, Swipe Gesture Support

Dropbox updated its iOS app to version 2.3 on Tuesday. The update includes new swipe gesture support for all files and folders, sharing of multiple files, and the ever-popular bug fixes and improvements.

AppleInsider:

Perhaps the most useful change in Dropbox version 2.3 are the new swipe gestures built into the app’s user interface. Users can now share, move, delete or favorite files by swiping a file’s tile offscreen, as seen in the above image.

The implementation is much like those found in other iOS apps like Pocket or TweetBot in that the file controls are hidden beneath a swipeable “tile.”

Another new feature is a new folder sharing option. The sharing and deletion options for folders can be accessed with a quick swipe to the right.

Users can also select and share multiple photos.

Dropbox is available FREE in the App Store for both the iPhone and iPad. [DIRECT LINK]
