Tim Cook to Attend Sun Valley Conference Again This Year

Apple CEO Tim Cook will once again attend this year’s Sun Valley conference at the Sun Valley Resort in Idaho. Cook made a surprise appearance at the conference last year.

Who wouldn't want to hang out with this cool dude?

Other notable executive attendees include Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg, Google’s Sergey Bring and Larry Page, Disney CEO and Apple Directory Bob Iger, and News Corp’s Rupert Murdoch.

Guests, who generally dress down for the occasion, attend lectures on politics, business and other subjects, all of which are closed to the press. There is plenty of socializing involved, as the guests attend group lunches, and dinners.

The conference is known as a place where partnerships are forged, and major deals are made, so much attention will be paid as to who huddles with whom, and if anyone is seen hanging out a little more than usual with someone else. Yes, just like high school.

(UPDATE – 7/9/13) – The location of Sun Valley was corrected to reflect it’s true location, in Idaho. Thanks to MacTrast reader Cory for the geographically correct correction.
