Apple Begins Teasing ‘Fall 2013’ Release of Mac Pro in Movie Theater ‘Trailer’

Apple Begins Teasing ‘Fall 2013’ Release of Mac Pro in Movie Theater ‘Trailer’

Apple has begun teasing their upcoming new Mac Pro via a “trailer” being shown in movie theaters across the United States. The teaser video was first shown at Apple’s WWDC at the initial debut of the sleek, black computer.

MacRumors:

According to reports from several people who have seen the teaser, it ends with the line “Fall 2013,” offering the first concrete hint of when the redesigned Mac Pro might launch. At WWDC, Apple gave a “later this year” release date.

The video displays the sleek curves of the product form multiple angles.

The new Mac Pro is housed in a smaller and radically redesigned tower. It will boast Intel Xeon E5 processors with up to 12 cores, dual AMD FirePro GPUs, and PCIe flash storage.

While Apple claims the new Mac Pro is 2.5 times faster than the current model, recent benchmarks have shown mixed results, although there is evidence the new model will certainly offer greatly improved performance over the current model.

Apple has not announced pricing or an exact release date for the new computer.
