Apple Reminds Customers About Their No-Tax Holidays

Apple has sent out an email to customers about their state’s upcoming no-tax holiday. The emails, sent to customers in the nine U.S. states with a no-tax holiday, reminds customers that they can buy Apple products, including computers and software – either in their local Apple Stores or online – and pay no sales tax during their state’s no-tax period.

From the Apple Email:

If your state offers a tax holiday this summer, you can buy select Apple products without paying sales tax.* When shopping online, sales tax will appear during checkout, but you’ll see the correct tax amount on your email order confirmation.

Participating States, and Their No-Tax Holiday Dates, are:

  • Alabama (August 1, 2014, – August 3, 2014)
  • Florida (August 1, 2014, – August 3, 2014)
  • Georgia (August 1, 2014, – August 2, 2014)
  • Louisiana (August 1, 2014, – August 2, 2014)
  • Massachusetts (No-Tax Holiday Pending Legislation)
  • Missouri (August 1, 2014, – August 3, 2014)
  • New Mexico (August 1, 2014, – August 3, 2014)
  • South Carolina (August 1, 2014, – August 3, 2014)
  • Tennessee (August 1, 2014, – August 3, 2014)
