Sure, it’s only been two months since Apple held its 25th annual Worldwide Developers Conference, but it’s not to soon to speculate on the dates for next year’s WWDC. Is it?
MacRumors got their hands on the summer 2015 schedule for San Francisco’s Moscone Center, the traditional location for Apple’s WWDC shindigs, and saw a “Corporate Event” scheduled for June 8, 2015 through June 12, 2015. Let’s play “Guess the Corporation’s Name.” You get three guesses, first two don’t count.
In previous years, (2008, 09, 10, and 12) the same vague “Corporate Event” listed during the month of June has turned out to be everyone’s favorite event, WWDC.
The 06/08 to 06/12 time period listed on the Moscone West calendar jibes with a multi-year convention calendar for the San Francisco Convention and Visitors Bureau, discovered in 2010. That calendar has proven accurate for the past four conferences.
So, while it is possible that the “Corporate Event” listed on Moscone’s calendar may be a vacuum cleaner repair convention being held by Dyson, you might want to at least tentatively mark those dates on your calendar with pencil.
