MacRumors:

…This figure tops the two million in six hours reported yesterday and is based on information provided directly by the companies processing reservations on China.

Reservation company Jimgdong reports reservations are split almost evenly between both handsets. The iPhone 6 Plus has accounted for 1,189,083 reservations, with the iPhone 6 trailing slightly with 1,106,379 reservations. The handsets officially go on sale in China on October 17.

So far demand for the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus has outstripped demand, with the device quickly selling out following the launch of both devices. Shipping estimates for the device in the U.S. are showing 3-4 weeks, while the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 is showing shipping times of 7-10 business days.

Spot checks of several Apple Stores around the U.S. show some in-store availability for both handsets. Be sure to check your local Apple Store before making a visit.
