MacBook Air vs. Karate Kick of Death! (VIDEO)

Wired recently subjected a MacBook Air to an unusual torture test, the “Karate Kick of Death!” In the video below, Wired subjects a MacBook Air to drops of 5 feet, and 15 feet. The proud, yet disheveled laptop then must face the “KARATE KICK OF DEATH!” (Where’s the echo chamber switch on this thing? – Ed.)


Apple’s MacBook Air is light and easy to transport, but can it withstand a blow from our stunt performer who holds a black belt in karate? YouTuber @Jackson challenged us to find out—see what happened.
