Apple Online Store Goes Down Ahead of ‘Spring Forward’ Event

As usual, the Apple online store has been taken down just ahead of today’s “Spring Forward” media event, where the company is expected to tell us more about the upcoming Apple Watch, and perhaps announce an update for the company’s MacBook lineup.

Apple’s online storefront traditionally goes down just before a big Apple event, to allow the behind-the-scenes updating and adding of products to the store.

Apple’s media event starts at 10AM Pacific/1 PM Eastern time, with a live video stream available via the Apple website,  viewable on Mac, iPhone, iPad and Apple TV devices.

(Live streaming video requires Safari 5.1.10 or later on OS X v10.6.8 or later; Safari on iOS 6.0 or later. Streaming via Apple TV requires second- or third-generation Apple TV with software 6.2 or later.)

MacTrast will be watching the event unfold today, and will bring all of the news to you as it happens. Stay tuned.
