To be filed under “Awwwww…” While some have written off the Apple Watch’s ability to share your heartbeat as a gimmick, at least one set of new parents have put the feature to more than good use. They used the feature to share their newborn son’s heartbeat with family members who couldn’t be there for the birth.

Sure, the heartbeat sharing feature of the Apple Watch might be a gimmick, but this is a great example of how Apple users put such “gimmicks” to work.
