Today’s two-and-a-half minute trailer offers a look at Jobs’ in behind-the-scenes looks at various product launches, while also examining his tempestuous relationship with his daughter, Lisa Brennan-Jobs.

The trailer gives a preview of star Michael Fassbender as Jobs – seen at various times throughout the years – and also gives us longer looks a Seth Rogen as Steve Wozniak, Jeff Daniels as John Sculley, and Kate Winslet, who plays Joanna Hoffman.

The Jobs biographical film, penned by Aaron Sorkin of West Wing fame, has been through many changes since the film was first announced. A number of actors have been announced for and then dropped out of the project, and the film has even changed studios, moving from Sony to Universal due to scheduling conflicts.

The Steve Jobs biopic is expected to hit theaters on October 9.
