Apple Releases First Beta of OS X 10.11.2 to Developers

It’s been a busy day for Apple. In addition to announcing financial results for the fourth fiscal quarter of 2015, the company also released the first beta of iOS 9.2. Now, hot on the heels of that release, the Cupertino firm has also released the first beta of OS X 10.11.2 to developers for testing.

The beta – Build 15C27e – is available for download from the Apple Developer Portal.

Release notes indicate the OS X El Capitan 10.11.2 update improves the stability, compatibility, and security of the Mac. Apple is asking developers to concentrate on Graphics, Mail, Wi-Fi, Calendar, USB, Notes, Photos, and Spotlight.

The new beta comes around one week following the public release of OS X 10.11.1, which included new emoji characters, and also addressed issues with Microsoft Office 2016, Mail, VoiceOver, and more.
