New Video Allegedly Shows Off iPhone 7 Design Sans Headphone Jack

New Video Allegedly Shows Off iPhone 7 Design Sans Headphone Jack

While we’ve been seeing a number of sketchy photos and reports claiming to show the rear casing of the iPhone 7 in recent weeks, today sees the first video of the design of the alleged device.

MacRumors:

Shared by Dutch site TechTastic, the video features the same casing we’ve seen in photos, with relocated antenna bands that no longer span across the back of the device, a larger protruding camera hole to perhaps accommodate an improved image sensor, and overall, a design that’s not much different than the design of the iPhone 6s.

The bottom of the device is visible in the video, and shows a definite lack of a headphone jack. The iPhone 7 has been long-rumored to do away with the headphone jack, in favor of Lightning and Bluetooth headphones. The video shows a second speaker grill where the jack would have been.

As is usual, it must be cautioned that they are doing wonderful things with special effects these days, and this whole video could be bull-dookie. We’ll see what’s what in September.
