Razer – maker of popular gaming peripherals, keyboards, and more – has announced the release of a mechanical keyboard case for the 12.9-inch iPad Pro. The new case uses a new ultra-low-profile mechanical switch developed by the company.
Each Razer Ultra-Low-Profile Mechanical switch features a true actuation and reset point. Presses are registered with 70 grams of force, mimicking the feel of full-size mechanical keyboards in a form factor that’s slim enough to accompany a mobile device.
The new Mechanical Keyboard Case for the Apple iPad Pro is a sleek, all black model, offering a detachable polycarbonate case with a metal kickstand to support the iPad Pro while typing.

The keyboard connects to the iPad Pro via Bluetooth, instead of the Smart Keyboard connector used by keyboards offered by Apple and Logitech. Battery life for the keyboard is said to range from 10 hours with the included keyboard backlight enabled and set at maximum brightness, all the way up to 600 hours of use with no backlight.
