Apple on Wednesday seeded the fifth betas of iOS 10.1 to developers and public beta testers who own iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus devices for testing. The release comes two days following the fourth developer beta release of the upcoming operating system.

The availability of the beta to only iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus devices suggests the beta has the LTE bug fix that was included in the iOS 10.0.3 update, released on Monday.

Today’s fifth iOS 10.1 beta seed – build 14B72c – is available as an over-the-air update to developers and beta testers who have the beta configuration profile installed on their iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus devices.

The initial iOS 10.1 beta seed included:

  • The promised Portrait bokeh feature for iPhone 7 Plus.
  • A fix for motion handling. Developers will be able to access barometric pressure data for iPad Air 2, iPad mini 4 and iPad Pro.

We’ll report any further findings in this space.
