Apple’s Standalone Support App Now Available in U.S.

Need help? Apple Support app is your personalized guide to the best options from Apple. Find answers with articles tailored to your products and questions. Call, chat or email with an expert right away, or schedule a callback when it’s convenient. Get a repair at an Apple Store or a nearby Apple Authorized Service Provider. Apple Support is here to help.

The app is linked to the user’s iCloud account, so in most cases it knows which Apple devices you own, and provides support information for each device. This saves time for the customer, as they won’t have to search for and manually enter the information about their device or Mac computer.

The app allows users to chat directly with Apple Service experts, and view support case history as well. In addition, the app offers a number of how to articles, featuring information such as how to back up your iOS device, how to take and edit photos on your device, and more.

Apple soft-launched the app in the Netherlands back in November, and apparently the trial run there appears to have gone well. The app will likely roll out to the rest of the world in the near future.

The Apple Support app is free, and is available for iOS devices in the App Store. [GET IT HERE]
