Whenever a phone call comes in that you can’t answer right away, but you do want to return the call, you can remind yourself to call them back by doing the following:

How to Remind Yourself to Return a Phone Call on the iPhone

  1. When a call comes in that you can’t immediately answer, look for the “Remind Me” icon on your screen, as highlighted above. (It looks like an alarm clock.)
  2. Tap the “Remind Me icon.
  3. A “Remind Me Later” menu will appear on screen.
  4. In this menu, you can choose to have your iPhone remind you in one hour to return the call. If you have location services turned on for reminders, you can also choose to have your iPhone remind you when you leave your current location, or when you arrive home.

By using the reminder feature on your iPhone, you’ll never forget to return a call. Well, not unintentionally, anyway…
