Apple Redesigns iOS App Store Web Pages With iOS 11 Look and Feel

Apple on Thursday revamped their App Store web interface for app information pages, bringing a new design aesthetic that gives the pages the same feel as the iOS 11 App Store app on iOS devices.

The App Store app preview web pages have been redesigned to match the look and feel of the iOS 11 App Store. The new look offers larger app icons and preview images, and a cleaner page layout.

The larger app icon is situated next to the app’s name, developer, rating, and pricing information. Also indicated is whether or not the app offers in-app purchases.

Beneath that info are screenshots from the various versions of the app, which can include the iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. Previously, this area was occupied by the app’s description. The new design locates that information below the screenshots area.

A “What’s New” section, which contains information that includes version history logs, is found below the Description area, with customer reviews, files size and supported languages, Family Sharing info, and the “You May Also Like” section listing similar apps.
