DropTunes is a third party site that uses your Dropbox storage to host MP3s and then play them back to you through your web browser. This is not a million miles away from Apple’s soon to launch iTunes in the Cloud service where you will be able to access and sync all of your MP3s from across all of your iDevices.

Apple today brought us one giant leap closer to OS X Lion. It was announced today that Lion will arrive in July but no specific date in July was given. What we do know is that OS X Lion will be available as a download through the Mac App Store and will come in at 4GB in size for a price of $29.99.

Apple today announced the Fall arrival of iOS 5. The next version of iOS will feature more 200 new features including notifications, Twitter integration, camera shortcut, reminder app, wireless sync and updating, and much much more.

Avast Release Public Beta Of Free Anti-Virus For Mac

The beta app, which can be download here (direct link) features a File Shield, Web Shield, and Mail Shield, to provide you with a thorough level of protection for your Mac. This versoin is a rewrite of their existing anti-virus software for Mac.

Macbook Pro Owner Helps Police Arrest Thief

On March 11th of this year, Joshua Kaufman’s Macbook Pro was stolen from his apartment in Oakland, CA. Joshua not only reported the crime to the Police but he also tipped off the police to the thief’s identity, his location, his email address, and even got a weird topless shot of the thief.
