Apple today announced the Fall arrival of iOS 5. The next version of iOS will feature more 200 new features including notifications, Twitter integration, camera shortcut, reminder app, wireless sync and updating, and much much more.

Apple Spills the Beans on iOS 5 Over The Air Updates

MacRumors got a tip that Apple inadvertently revealed an over-the-air app update feature for iOS in iTunes. This would indicate that such a feature will be available in iOS 5, which will be announced Monday at WWDC. Apple could also be bringing system updates to iOS which would finally allow users to cut the cord entirely.


Adobe CEO Says Flash War With Apple Is Over

Shantanu Narayen, Adobe’s CEO, claims that their spat with Apple over Flash is over. Adobe & Apple have clashed many-a-time over Apple’s refusal to allow Flash onto their iOS devices.


Did Eric Schmidt Out NFC On The Upcoming iPhone?

At Wall Street Journals AllThingsD conference, Eric Schmidt claimed that, while Android has NFC now through Google Wallet, everyone else will have it very soon. While he didn’t specifically mention Apple, his meaning came across as indicating such.


Google Unleashes New iOS Web Layout

Apparently Google has just redesigned their search results page on iOS devices, so next time you search, watch for it! The update replaces the small top links with big icons, allowing you to navigate more easily, and quickly access sites like Maps and YouTube.


iPad Hacked To Add Phone & SMS Service
