DropTunes – Turns Your Dropbox Into A Music Player

DropTunes is a third party site that uses your Dropbox storage to host MP3s and then play them back to you through your web browser. This is not a million miles away from Apple’s soon to launch iTunes in the Cloud service where you will be able to access and sync all of your MP3s from across all of your iDevices.

Sources for TUAW have discovered hints towards two future iPad 3 models in the latest iOS 5 firmware, in the form of iOS system files that reference “iPad 3,1″ and iPad 3,2″ This numbering indicates a model of iPad that has not yet been released.

Mobile Safari In iOS 5 Has “Privacy Mode” To Hide Your Porn

The good folks at Gizmodo have uncovered that fact that iOS 5 brings a secure “private browsing” mode to mobile Safari. While this would be great for keeping your porn habit a secret, I suspect Steve was more concerned about other things, like banking transactions.
