Earlier today, T-Mobile announced that they will finally begin carrying the iPhone after years of being left out from offering the device. While many initially suspected that the device would run only on T-Mobile’s HSPA+ and LTE bands, Apple has confirmed to Engadget that they will actually be releasing a modified version of the iPhone 5 with support for T-Mobile’s AWS bands.
T-Mobile has been the only major U.S. carrier unable to offer Apple’s iPhone for a long time now. But today, T-Mobile’s day has finally come. As part of their “Uncarrier” event being held this morning in New York, the carrier announced that they will finally begin offering the iPhone for as little as $15 up front, in addition to a series of monthly payments.

A new ad from LG plays well off of Apple’s iPhone 5 ad that showed off the device’s Panorama skills. The LG ad, for their Optimus G Pro handset, does a nice pat on the back to the iPhone 5 ad, then gives it a straight uppercut as it shows off the expanded panoramic abilities of the LG device.
